Weekend Update 2/2 - First foods and dadadada!

As we were away snowboarding the week before last, here are a few Jake updates from the last two weeks:

As mentioned before, Jake can now remain sitting up by himself (when put in the sitting position by someone) and can catch himself when he starts to fall over:

New this week: Jake has begun practising "Dada" sounds (video):

He can actually make the sound really well, this video was just by far the cutest!

Jake also had his first piano lesson this week. Well, not really, but it was the first time that he was interested in playing with the keys when sitting down with Angie (video)

Newsflash: Jake is now a major wiggle bum:

"Look, Mummy! See how I can turn all the way as you try to change me!"

Jake had his first encounter with solid food this week! It all began with a simple steamed (mushy) green bean that Jake sucked the life out of (the bean never saw it coming):

A few days later, he moved on to avocados:
