Technically I suppose the compeition was held in 2011, but it was in celebration of the coming new year. We welcomed 2012 with good friends and good food. We invited each guest to bring an appetizer to share. And when everything had been sampled many times by many person we put it to a vote. Each dish had a number assigned and the winner received a chocolatey prize! Congrats Monica! What ensued after dinner was a healthy does of hilarity with the help of the Game of Things - that game is always good for making a person laugh until they hurt. So we "hurt" all the way until we watched the ball drop in Spanish on telemundo. We highly recommend that alternative for all others who don't believe in paying for cable and only have the bunny ear antennae.
